The mission of the MIAP project is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremains of veterans through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations. We must ensure that our forgotten veterans, who served our country, be buried with honor and respect.
This project has just begun. It will be a monumental task, as you can imagine. The most important item we need, in order to accomplish our mission, is a database designed specifically for the Missing in America Program. We also need to print flyers and brochures so as to blanket every mortuary, crematorium, and cemetery in the United States. It is the only way to reach them and let them know there are people who care enough, for these forgotten veterans who served the greatest nation in the world, to see they are finally laid to rest with the honor and respect they should have received when they passed on.
Will you help us by securing a final resting place for these forgotten heroes?
All monies raised are devoted exclusively to this program. This is strictly an all volunteer organization with no salaries, compensation or reimbursement of expenses paid to board members, officers or volunteers.
